Saunders Brothers Farm Market is currently shipping to Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
Shipping Season
Our Plant shipping season runs from March 1 - November 15.
Our Pantry shipping season runs from January 7 - December 20.
Our Holiday Wreath shipping season runs from November 15 - December 15.
All fresh fruit will be available during its respective harvest season.
During summer months, we will only box and ship plant material on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We will not ship plants on days where temperatures are above 90 degrees Fahrenheit. When temperatures are looking high, we will use our best judgement on whether or not plants can be shipped so that plant health is not compromised. As always, we will keep you informed of your order status.
Order Fulfillment
High temperatures can be damaging to plants in transit. During times when temperatures are excessive, we may hold shipment until temperatures are more conducive for safe shipment.
Plant orders will be shipped Monday through Wednesday
Pantry orders will be shipped Monday through Thursday.
May I pick up my order?
E-commerce orders can be picked up at the Farm Market on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Please select pick up day during check out.
If you would like to remain in your car upon pick up, please call the Farm Market when you arrive so that we can bring out your order: (434) 277-8432.
Occasionally, our Farm Market may offer discounts not seen on this site.
How do we ship?
We ship all items in cardboard boxes that are designed to fit the particular item that you ordered.

What are the plant container sizes?
At Saunders Brothers Farm Market, our growers are striving to provide you with the healthiest and highest quality plant possible. Depending on the plant, we will offer it in one of five different sized containers. From left to right our container sizes are:
4.5 inch container (640 ml)
1 quart container (940 ml)
3 quart container (2.6 liters)
4 quart container (3.7 liters) - 1 gallon pot
10 quart container (8.6 liters) - 2.5 gallon pot
12 quart container (11.4 liters) - 3 gallon pot
Plant Returns
We guarantee our plants are in healthy condition and ready to plant when they’re packed to ship. If you have concerns about any plant, please notify us as soon as you unpack your order and send us a digital image to custserv@saundersbrothersfarmmarket.com within 7 days. Reimbursement cannot take place without a digital image. Due to the season, the plant you receive may not appear exactly like the plant in the photo that you selected. In fall through early spring, keep in mind that a plant may have dropped its leaves, or it may be just leafing out. A healthy root system is the key to a healthy plant. We cannot be held responsible for your plant not performing to your expectation once you have installed them. This is because of the number of environmental factors that we cannot control including irrigation, light, pests and weather. We cannot be held liable for any amount greater that the purchase price of the plant in question. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
Pantry Returns
We will do our best to send you exactly what you order.
