Watch us press fresh apples into delicious cider the old-fashioned way. Using Papa Saunders’ antique press, we’ll press out fresh samples made from a wide variety of apples grown on our farm. Cider demonstration is from 11-2. While you are here meet meet Pat Saunders, a local artist and family member. She will have her lovely paintings and note cards available for purchase from 9-5. Kids (and the kids at heart), come decorate cookies with the Elves of Saunders Brothers Farm Market. We will be decorating sugar cookies with icing and festive sprinkles. Jason Mattson, our staff Field and Orchard Horticulturalist, will be demonstrating how to graft new apple trees using a technique called budding.
