Join us at the Farm Market as we welcome Autumn. The patio will be bursting with fall colors. Mr. Ted Hughes, a long-time friend of Papa Saunders, will be here with his book on the old railway system of Nelson County. There will be plants for your autumn landscape along with pumpkins and gourds to enhance your fall decor. Apples , Asian pears, winter squash, sweet potatoes, and sweet apple cider will be in plentiful. A fall inspired dessert topped with pumpkin or apple pie ice cream will be available from the kitchen. |

Kids and the kids at heart come decorate cookies with the Elves of Saunders Brothers Farm Market! We will be decorating sugar cookies with icing and festive sprinkles. Cookies will be pre-baked from the local bakery, The Wooden Spoon. | 12/7-8/18 | Art Show with Pat Saunders! |
Pat is artist and owner of Tye Brook Studio. Using mainly acrylic paints, she blends her love for rural landscapes and architecture to create original works of art. A Virginia Tech graduate, and a former Nelson County Art Teacher, Pat now teaches art classes at the library, and paints full time. Pat sells her notecards and small paintings at the Farm Market. The Farm Market will be hosting a Holiday Art Show featuring her work, December 7 and 8, 9-5 p.m. Come by and do all your holiday shopping!
